Travel and Getting There
🚆 Train
Berkhamsted station is directly opposite the site - just a short walk. Regular services from London Euston (approx. 35 min) and Birmingham New Street. Allow extra time on departure due to crowds.

🚖 Taxi / Drop-Off
Drop-off and pick-up is at Berkhamsted Station only. Stopping on main roads or residential streets is not permitted. Ride-sharing apps (Uber, Bolt) to station address only.
🚌 Bus
Arriva and Red Rose Travel services stop on High Street, a short walk from the venue. Check Traveline for up-to-date timetables. Official coach travel details will be announced closer to the event.
♿ Accessible Entrance
Located on Brownlow Road (Castle Hill, Berkhamsted HP4 1HE). Accessible parking is available here for Blue Badge holders. What3Words: ///capillary.brochure.resolves
No bikes, scooters, or personal vehicles are permitted on site. Cyclists must dismount and walk within the festival boundary. Bike parking is available nearby.
Who Can Attend
Friday 11 September - 18+ Only
No one under the age of 18 will be permitted entry on Friday under any circumstances.
Saturday & Sunday - All Ages Welcome
Under-16s must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+) at all times.
A wristband scheme operates for children - collect wristbands from the information tent on arrival and write an emergency contact number on the inside.
Challenge 25
We operate a Challenge 25 policy. If you look under 25, you will be asked for valid photographic ID: passport, driving licence, or PASS-approved card. It is an offence to purchase alcohol for anyone under 18.
What To Bring
All bags are subject to search on entry. Security may refuse entry to anyone carrying prohibited items.
Bags must be A4 size (30cm × 21cm × 15cm) maximum — large bags are not permitted.

- Fireworks, flares, pyros or smoke bombs
- Laser pens
- Professional cameras, tripods, rigs or drones

- High-visibility clothing (non-staff)

- Animals (except registered assistance dogs)
On-Site Food & Drink
All bars and food traders accept cash, card and contactless payment.
- A wide range of food traders on site, including vegan and vegetarian options
- No food may be brought onto the festival site from outside
- No alcohol may be brought onto site - alcohol is available from licensed traders within the festival only
- The only outside liquid permitted is sealed water (plastic bottles, 500ml max)
- Free drinking water refill points are available across the site - bring an empty reusable bottle
- Responsible drinking is encouraged. The festival reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who appears intoxicated
Medical & Welfare
Your safety and wellbeing are our priority. Never hesitate to ask for help — our welfare teams are there for exactly that.
- A fully staffed first aid post is located near the main entrance and open throughout the event
- Trained first aiders patrol the site continuously
- Medical and welfare tents are clearly signposted across the site
- In a medical emergency: call 999 immediately, then alert the nearest steward or head directly to the medical tent
- If you have a pre-existing condition, please make yourself known to first aid staff on arrival
- A quiet/welfare space is available for those experiencing anxiety, sensory overload or other difficulties — ask any steward for directions
- Prescription medication must be in original sealed packaging, match your ID, and be supported by a prescription or doctor's note

Accessible Facilities
We are committed to making Berko Fields Festival as accessible and enjoyable as possible for all guests. The venue is on largely level ground; please note it is an outdoor event and weather conditions may affect terrain.
Accessible Entrance
Located on Brownlow Road (Castle Hill, Berkhamsted HP4 1HE). What3Words: ///capillary.brochure.resolves. Accessible parking is available at this entrance for Blue Badge holders. A dedicated accessible viewing area for wheelchair users is available near the main stage
PA / Carer Tickets
- Guests who require a PA or carer may apply for a complimentary PA/Carer ticket. Accessible Viewing Area tickets are subject to limited capacity — apply early. To apply, email us within 7 days of booking with proof of eligibility.
- Proof of eligibility: Access Card (+1 symbol), PIP documentation, medical letter, or other official documentation confirming carer needs
- The name on proof of eligibility must match the name on your ticket booking
- Applications reviewed within 5 working days
- Accessibility application deadline: Friday 14th August
- Accessible toilets available across the site
- Assistance dogs welcome — please email us in advance so we can ensure suitable rest areas
- Approved guests may be asked to present ID on arrival; early arrival is recommended during peak times

Fire & Crowd Safety
Fire Safety
- Familiarise yourself with the nearest fire exit on arrival
- No open flames, BBQs, candles or fire-lighting equipment are permitted on site
- Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is permitted in designated smoking zones only
- In the event of fire, leave immediately, do not collect belongings, and follow steward instructions
- Do not obstruct emergency exits, fire lanes or access routes at any time
Crowd Safety & Behaviour
- Crowd surfing and moshing are not permitted
- Climbing on structures, fences, stages or barriers is strictly prohibited
- Antisocial behaviour, harassment, or discrimination of any kind will result in immediate ejection without refund
- Stewards and security staff have full authority to refuse entry or remove individuals from the site
- Report any concerns to a steward or the information tent immediately
